User Interface Design & Development
I have designed and developed user interfaces for a wide range of users including pilots, engineers, train drivers, medical staff and others.
Here is a recent example of a UI for engineers that predicts loads during drilling operations.
The screenshots below show my redesign of a data entry screen for setting up a cement job. The user simply drags cement, from the palette on the right, into the well diagram. The engineer places the cement in its final desired position, and the calculations work out the volumes required. This is an example of goal driven user experience design.
